I am an ESL teacher in Mauritania and the breadwinner of my family.  The whole of my family has been displaced as a result of the Anglophone crisis affecting the South West and North West Region of Cameroon. Last year I was diagnosed of diabtese at the "Service des Urgences_Nouvel Hôpital Civil" Strasbourg _France from 27/04/ 2023 to 03/05/ 2023 and I have received a hospital bill of ; 8660.72 euros as cost of the treatments and medications by the hospital on me. The insurance I used to travel has completely refused to pay for the medications stating that I was probably sick before traveling to France.

The treasury of the hospital has contacted my school because it is a French school and my school has told me a large portion of my salary will be paid to the hospital until the bills is completely paid adding that it is what the French law stipulates. The remaining part of my salary can not cover my monthly expenses talkless of taking care of my seriously ill mum and family displaced by war back home in Cameroon. I have been suffering from depression since I was diagnosed of diabetese and my mental health situation has worsened since I was served the bills. I am pleading for well wishers to help me finance the bills. Any dime is highly welcome.
