A Little Help Can Give Someone a New Hope.
A Personal Appeal for Safety, Dignity, and a New Beginning,,,
Dear Kind Supporter,
I am writing this appeal with a deeply heavy heart to share a very personal part of my life.
I am a man who experiences romantic and sexual attraction toward other men, and I believe I may be gay. Because of this, I have struggled greatly with fear, loneliness, emotional distress, and insecurity. I often find it difficult to live and interact freely with others because I am afraid of rejection, discrimination, and possible threats to my safety.
Living openly as a gay man in Bangladesh can be extremely difficult. Same-sex sexual activity is criminalized under Bangladeshi law, and homosexuality is also widely rejected socially and culturally. As a result, I often feel that I cannot live openly or safely as myself.
My situation has left me deeply discouraged and uncertain about my future. I want to find a place where I can live with dignity, personal safety, freedom, and respect.
For this reason, I hope to eventually relocate to a country where LGBTQ+ people have stronger legal and social protections. My preferred destinations include:
🇳🇱 Netherlands
🇪🇸 Spain
🇩🇪 Germany
🇫🇷 France
🇧🇪 Belgium
🇨🇦 Canada
🇺🇸 United States
🇦🇺 Australia
🇲🇹 Malta
🇮🇸 Iceland
However, I come from a financially struggling family, and I currently do not have the resources needed to pursue a legal migration pathway, education, employment opportunity, or other safe route to one of these countries.
I am therefore humbly asking for your support.
Any financial assistance, no matter how small, could help me take practical steps toward a safer and more stable future—such as obtaining necessary documents, preparing for legitimate migration or employment opportunities, improving my skills, and covering essential travel and application-related expenses.
I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for an opportunity to build a life where I can live safely, honestly, and with dignity.
If you are able to support me, even a small contribution would mean a great deal to me. If you cannot provide financial assistance, sharing my appeal with others who may be able to help would also be deeply appreciated.
Thank you sincerely for taking the time to read my story and for considering my situation with compassion.
With gratitude and hope,
Md. Liton
