A New Beginning: Help Me Rebuild My Life

A personal appeal for support

Hello everyone,

My name is Luís de Azevedo, and I currently live and work in Belgium.

Today, I am finding the courage to share my story with you. It is not easy to talk about personal struggles, especially when it comes to asking for help from people I have never met.

For a period of my life, I struggled with gambling addiction. This addiction led me into a difficult financial situation, leaving me with debts that accumulated over time.

I made mistakes, and I am not trying to hide them or blame anyone else. I take responsibility for my actions.

But today, I have made an important decision to change my life.

I have been gambling-free for four months.

Four months of fighting, determination, and hard work to regain control of my life.

However, stopping gambling does not make the financial problems disappear overnight. The debts are still there. The financial obligations continue, and despite working hard, it has been extremely difficult to rebuild my financial stability.

My total debt currently amounts to at least €8,250.

I continue to work and do everything I can to repay what I owe. But at this point, I need a helping hand to move forward and get out of this situation more quickly.

That is why I am reaching out to people around the world through this fundraising campaign.

Every donation, no matter how small, could make a real difference in helping me reduce my debts and rebuild a more stable life.

I am not asking anyone to erase my mistakes. I am simply asking for a chance to repair the consequences of those mistakes and continue on the path I started four months ago.
