My name is Yahya Ibrahim al-Shaer, I live in Gaza. I used to work as an imam, Islamic preacher, and teacher.

My country has been engulfed in war for over two and a half years. Our house was destroyed, and we now live in dilapidated tents. We spent all our savings on food, clothing, displacement, building tents, and repairing shelters. There are no job opportunities due to the instability, and goods are very expensive.

This is not a link for my small family of 4. However, I created this link out of compassion for those around me, and my inability to help them, given the dire need of families who are my relatives and neighbors in the camp where I live. This is to try to provide the most basic necessities for a group of families from vulnerable groups such as the elderly, people with special needs, women, and children, who have no income or provider, and who have not yet created links to collect donations, and some of them may not even own smartphones.
