Fundraiser in memory of Floris Buter
Fundraiser to commemorate our beloved Floris (43 years old), who passed away unexpectedly on Friday 4 Oct. in Nepal.
Far too soon, our beloved Floris has embarked on his next journey, crossing over to explore the great beyond. We remember Floris as a truly authentic and free-spirited soul who lived life boldly, on his own terms. Though his time with us was shorter than we wished, he lived a rich life, and we are forever grateful for the beautiful memories, deep connections, and the inspiration he leaves behind. We will miss Floris immensely, but he lives on in our hearts.
In Floris' honor, we are organizing a fundraiser. The funds raised will be dedicated to creating a lasting memory for Floris and covering (part of) the costs of his farewell ceremony on Sunday, 20 October. We would like to purchase a bench with a commemorative plaque and place it in a natural setting in the Netherlands that was special to Floris. Any remaining funds will be donated to a charity that Floris would have supported.
