I am a single mother trying to bring my 18-year-old daughter and me safely back to our home country. 

We escaped years of gender-based violence and were promised legal help and stability in Europe — but instead we were placed under the control of a religious group that pressures and monitors us, forcing us to participate in their worship. We lost our income, our peace, and our independence.

Because of the geopolitical situation, safe direct flights are extremely expensive, and overland routes through Colombia are dangerous and carry serious risks — especially for women travelling alone. 

We need to raise €6,500 to cover two airline tickets (around €1,500 each), A safe place to stay while we figure out how to afford our flights home, plus basic essentials like a refrigerator, washing machine, beds and a small cooker once we arrive — since we will be starting from zero again.
