Our care farm sessions are for children & teens with developmental, sensory or mental health needs who have an interest in nature and animals. Each session will give participants an opportunity to build a sense of responsibility, independence and pride, all while experiencing life on a farm. participants will make new friends, boost coping skills, increase self-esteem, improve social skills & learn through experience and exploration.

The focus of each session is to teach hard skills (using farm tools, animal care and gardening), alongside soft skills (fundamental skills, personal management skills and teamwork skills). We use mindfulness, psycho-education, play therapy and farm work to reach these goals.

The children/teens are coming to the farm once a week for a whole morning or afternoon. We serve them a healthy breakfast or lunch and healthy snacks. we can offer this program to a child/teen for Naf 3000 (€1500), for a whole year. 

Our goal for this year is to offer the care program to 12 children/teens. We have already some companies who gave a generous donation, so the first group can start in september! In each group (4 participants) Kurá pa Kura will offer one place for free! But we want to reach more children/teens and that’s why we need your help!
