My Dad’s Funeral

Good morning, I am writing to kindly ask for your help in raising funds to cover the costs of transporting my late father’s body from Germany and organizing his funeral. My father passed away in Germany, and I live in Starogard Gdański. I am left to handle the entire funeral arrangement on my own. I cannot afford the costs of transporting his body and organizing the funeral. The death benefit from ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) covers only half of the expenses. The transport alone costs 9,000 PLN, and a modest funeral requires several thousand more. Any contribution—even as little as 1 PLN—would be a tremendous help, and I would be deeply grateful for every single zloty. This is an incredibly difficult time for me, and I feel very uncomfortable asking for help, but I truly do not want my father to be buried in Germany in an anonymous or random grave. I desperately wish to bring him home so that he can be laid to rest where I live, giving me the chance to say a proper goodbye.
