​The twins, Qamar and Massa (age 2), Bashir’s grandchildren, are suffering from severe acute malnutrition due to the terrible shortage of food and health supplements.

​Their mother, Hanin, is living a doubled tragedy—she previously lost three of her children (Rayan, Bader, and Mohammed), and now fears for the lives of the twins.

​This extended family includes around seven children under the age of five, all living in displacement and unbearable psychological and economic pressure.
