I am Mohammed Zakaria, an anesthesiologist and resuscitation specialist from Gaza. I completed my studies a year ago. I live in the city of Gaza in the Zaytoun neighborhood. I completed my studies and was supposed to continue my specialization, but with the beginning of the war on the seventh of October, our lives changed completely and were completely destroyed over the course of 197 days of war, during which 34,000 martyrs from Gaza were killed. I work at Al-Ahli Hospital, which was bombed two months ago. We receive serious and frightening injuries at Al-Ahli Hospital. I used to work at Shifa Hospital in Gaza a year ago, where there were cases where 90% of injuries were amputations and cases of full burns. I have been working at Al-Ahli Hospital since the beginning of the war around the clock. The situation in Gaza is very terrifying and cannot be fully conveyed by pictures. I am very tired of this war and the scenes I witness. Before two months ago, Israeli tanks were at the hospital gates besieging it from all directions, but we continued to work and help the people in Gaza and save what can be saved from families. We saw a whole family being killed and only a baby survived. This situation cannot be forgotten. At that moment, we did not know what to do. We had a child who lost his entire family in the hospital. Among other situations, a large number of injuries arrived at Al-Ahli Hospital, and we couldn't determine who to save first or even who had priority in treatment. All injuries are serious, and we don't know who to rescue first, and all injuries are amputations of body parts.
