Update from Our Family in Gaza

First and foremost, we want to express our sincere heartfelt gratitude to you who have supported us, prayed for us, and stood beside us during these incredibly difficult months.

Your generosity has been far more than practical assistance. It has reminded us that we are not alone, that our suffering has been witnessed, that people around the world care, that such goodness and beauty exist in this world in and through such loving

compassionate hearts like yours.

We want to offer you, in appreciation for your kind trust in us, an update on how the funds you give us are being used.

Please know that the donations received so far have been spent directly on daily essentials for our family of 16 people.

Because we live in tents in an area that receives little consistent humanitarian aid, we have no choice but to need to raise funds here to purchase food and basic necessities to sustain our family.

To give some context, it costs approximately 150 shekels (around $48 USD) per day to provide basic food for our family of 16.

On some days, food costs can reach 200 shekels (around $80 USD), depending on availability and market prices.

This does not include water, cooking gas, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and other daily necessities.

Food prices continue to fluctuate dramatically, making it impossible to predict costs from one day to the next.

As a result, all the funds raised here continue to be used immediately and carefully to help our family meet essential daily needs.

This fundraiser is not simply a request for continued support. It is offering our babies, elderly parents, and family members, an opportunity to strive to preserve dignity, and endure circumstances beyond our control.

Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a real difference to our family.

Thanks to you, I can support my wife, two babies, elderly parents with special needs, sister, brothers, widowed aunt, orphaned cousin, and aunt, to sustain ourselves during this genocide.

Your donation today, no matter how small, supports our family to eat healthily tomorrow.

We continue to pay your kindness forward whenever we can. Some of the funds on this page have already been used to support the needs of other children in our community and to help create a local drinking well. I myself am sometimes blessed with opportunities to deliver baby formula milk to mothers in need whenever I can. Alhamdulliah. Here we do our best to take care of each other, knowing that giver and receiver are always one - bonded together in love and care.

Please also continue to know that all of the funds raised here go directly into my bank account. My humanitarian friends in Ireland, Germany, and the USA, whom we speak with regularly on WhatsApp and Zoom, can all verify this for you.
