A Humanitarian Appeal — Help Me Rebuild the Life I Lost

My name is Abdulaziz. I am a 30-year-old aircraft maintenance engineer, born and raised in Kuwait. Kuwait has been my only home for my entire life.

I am writing this appeal because I have reached a point where I no longer know how I can build a normal future without humanitarian support.

I did not choose to become stateless

My former Kuwaiti nationality was revoked in July 2025 through what the authorities described as a revocation connected to my grandfather.

I was not accused of committing a crime or personally doing anything that caused this situation.

According to the explanation given by the authorities, the issue was connected to my grandfather's nationality status. However, the revocation was applied to me through dependency — meaning that my nationality was removed because it was derived through my grandfather.

I have spent my entire life in Kuwait. My family, education, memories, home and future were all connected to this country.

I never chose another nationality.

I never chose to become stateless.

I worked to build a future

I studied Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and graduated in February 2026 with a GPA of approximately 3.6.

I trained to work in aviation and hoped to build a professional career as an aircraft maintenance engineer.

I wanted an ordinary life: to work, continue my education, travel legally, marry, build a family and have a secure future.

Instead, I suddenly found myself facing restrictions that I never expected to experience.

My nationality changed.

My ability to travel became extremely difficult.

My employment and educational opportunities became more complicated.

Financially, I have also struggled because of my new legal circumstances.

Most importantly, I began to feel that the future I spent years preparing for had disappeared.

I am still young, but I am watching my future disappear

I am single and trying to rebuild my life from almost nothing.

I want to continue my education and work in aviation. I want to leave Kuwait legally and find a country where I can live securely, work according to my qualifications and eventually build a family.

But without a recognized nationality and a reliable travel document, even ordinary things that most people take for granted can become extremely difficult.

I do not want to spend the rest of my life trapped in uncertainty.

I do not want to lose my profession.

I do not want to lose the possibility of marriage, family and a normal future.

And I do not want to become dependent on charity forever.

Why am I asking for $100,000?

I am asking for help to pursue a permanent legal solution to my statelessness.

One of the realistic options I am investigating is obtaining citizenship through a Citizenship by Investment (CBI) program offered legally by certain Caribbean countries.

These programs require a substantial financial contribution or investment, and the total amount required can approach or exceed US$100,000, depending on the country, program, government fees, due-diligence requirements and other costs.

For me, this is not about luxury, wealth or obtaining a second passport for convenience.

It is about obtaining a legal nationality and travel document that could give me the possibility to leave my current situation, continue my education and career, travel legally, and finally begin rebuilding my life.

If this route is legally available to me and sufficient funds are raised, I will use the money specifically toward a legitimate citizenship/residency solution and the associated official costs.

I will not ask anyone to bypass immigration laws or provide false information. I am seeking a completely legal solution.

What your help could mean

A donation from you could mean much more to me than money.

It could mean:

  • The ability to obtain a recognized nationality and travel document.
  • The possibility of leaving my current situation legally.
  • The opportunity to continue my education.
  • The ability to work in the aviation industry.
  • The possibility of travelling without living in constant uncertainty.
  • The opportunity to marry and build a family.
  • The chance to finally have a future that I can control.

I know that $100,000 is a very large amount of money.

I also understand that no one is obligated to help me.

But if even a small number of people who read my story decide to stand beside me, my life could change completely.

To anyone who can help

If you are an individual, entrepreneur, business owner, philanthropist, lawyer, humanitarian organization or foundation that believes every person deserves a nationality and a chance to build a safe future, I am asking you to please consider supporting my case.

If you cannot donate, sharing my story may still bring it to someone who can help.

If you are able to provide professional legal assistance, immigration advice, sponsorship, education support, or another lawful pathway out of statelessness, I would be deeply grateful to hear from you.

I am not asking for a life of luxury.

I am asking for the chance to have a life.

I was trained to maintain aircraft and help keep people safe in the skies.

I never imagined that one day I would need the help of strangers simply to find a legal path toward a future of my own.

Please help me rebuild the life I lost.

My goal: US$100,000

My hope: a legal nationality, a future, and the opportunity to live and work with dignity.

Thank you for reading my story, and thank you to every person who chooses to help, share, or simply believe that my life is worth fighting for.
