My name is Olga, I was born in Ukraine. I had spent my childhood and teenage years in Ukraine. I had been lucky enough enjoying freedom while living in Australia and in Amsterdam, The Netherlands where I am currently residing. My parents, relatives and friends still live in Ukraine. Since the War started in Ukraine, a lot of my relatives and friends are doing huge volunteering work and some are on the front line defending my Motherland. 

My parents just like many other people had to flee their home in Ukraine in order to find safety at least temporary until they can go back to their home. They can absolutely find that safety with my husband and I in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 

Unfortunately, there are currently millions of people in Ukraine for whom this is not possible. The situation in Ukraine is beyond heartbreaking. Hundreds of thousands of women and children have to be on the run as their husbands and fathers continue to fight for their Country. People who are now in Ukraine have been sleeping in cold shelters for days. Even babies are born in the shelters and spend the first days there. Many houses, schools and even hospitals have been destroyed. There are beautiful Cities and small towns that have been simply levelled with the ground due to the constant and non-stop bombardments. There is now a shortage of various items: medicines, baby food and baby items, goods for the army and much more.
With this support action I want to provide direct aid for many affected people and especially children. I shall make sure that money or the goods which can be purchased, go directly to the affected people. Every contribution is welcomed and I hope that together we can help Ukrainian Nation.
