Hi, my name is Chaz, I'm 27 and I'm desperate.

We all go through hard times and we all do our best to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Sometimes, however, it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I have recently been let go from my job for helping out with the LGBTQIA+ Pride event in my city during my vacation days. My roommate has moved out to be with her boyfriend without warning or notice so my rent next month will be doubled. I had to give up my beautiful senior dogs, and I have already taken out a loan to cover last months rent and expenses, as I believed I would have secured a new job by now, I have been rejected for a credit card, and my bank account's overdraft has been maxed out.

I am struggling and I don't know where else to turn.

I've been lucky enough to have a few friends help put where they can, but I can't keep borrowing money that I won't be able to pay back.

I'm asking for just enough to cover my next month's rent, paying back my overdraft, affording electric, water heating & food for the month, and one loan repayment installment - to dig me out of the hole I've placed myself in.

Any help at all with getting back to steady ground while I secure a new job will be very much appreciated.
