Failing socio-economic and political instability, decades of armed conflict, displacement, and recurring natural disasters contribute to deteriorating humanitarian crises in Afghanistan. We need your help and support to provide aid to those living in these difficult circumstances.
Our mission is to help at least 200 families in need through this fundraiser. With 100 EUR, we can provide each family with a package of food for three months. The food package includes cooking oil, rice, wheat flour, legumes, and sugar. Additionally, we aim to provide firewood and warm clothing to protect people from the extreme winter cold.
Matin Ghafoori is a famous Afghan comedian who lives with his wife and two kids in Kabul. His and his family’s situation has drastically changed in the last few years as a direct consequence of the circumstances. He struggles with his financial situation and has multiple health and mental problems. By selling lentils, he tries to provide basic life necessities for his family, although due to cold during the winter it is almost impossible for him to sell lentils on the street. And, we have identified hundreds of likely families.
Kuchwan provides relief and recovery assistance to those affected by humanitarian crises. We provide families with cash assistance, food, and other basic necessities, educational training in rural areas, as well as help people find employment. We also work with local communities to identify, plan, and manage their own development projects.

Helping Afghan Girls and Boys Educate
We have been blessed by the generosity of your funding and we are grateful to those who contributed to the development of education for these little kids in need. We reached a village in Afghanistan-(Maidan Wardak) Province, where people are tiered from bullets and war and now they want their kids educate. With your support, we could help 180 kids (94 girls and 84 boys) with school accessories w.r.t the School bags, Pairs of shoes, stationaries including a dozen of notebooks, pen, pencil, sharper, rubber and dozens of colored pencils in each package for every child. Thanks for all the funding you have done for Afghans in need. 28/March/2022, we took the girl’s school accessories in village where last 40 years there was war. The conflict affected every aspect of the lives of civilians, particularly those living in such embattled areas but now they are seeing the glance of development and hence every villager here has put their kids in this school. Students in particular village are studying in a private house, where they are given space to take their classes in one side of the private house in open air, without any roof. Overcrowding, lack of infrastructure and supplies, unavailability of classes (taking classes in a private house of a villager) and weak oversight mean that children who do go to school may study in a tent, open space with no textbook for only three hours a day but despite all these difficulties, children come and parents are sending their kids here for education. We are planning to crowdfund for a school building for these kids, hope we reach their wish and be able to construct the school building for them. Where Afghan families are in extreme crisis, for parents it’s the choice of which child to sell for food, feeding children and families affected by these crisis is solely responsibility of us to assist. Nazar Mohammad, who used to be a famous wrestler is facing medical issues like Alzheimer's disease and have small children who he cannot feed. He and his family are in urgent need of food and medical attention. He lives with his wife and five children. As part of its emergency response to the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, KUCHWAN is planning to reach 200 Afghan families with food support and cash assistance, in same emergency response we handed Nazar Mohammad's family one food package:

With your su pport, we have reached 24% of our original goal and have provided life-saving emergency support to tens of the Afghan families. With your support, we have been able to help 15 more starving and poor families in Maidan Wardak and Kabul – and we will keep you informed about your generous contributions that have been put to work helping those who really need it. This is the second round of food package distribution where earlier in (January 2022) 35 Afghan families received life-saving Emergency Food Assistant and now on 5th March 2022 the second round of food distribution took place where 15 other families received their food packages from your generous contribution on the crowd funding.
