Hello, my name is Aya Wadi. I am a 27-year-old nurse from Gaza, and I am reaching out to you during one of the most difficult times of my life. Just one month after I got married and began building my new life, the war broke out, and my home was burned and bombed by Israeli soldiers. Everything I worked for was destroyed, and my family and I have been living in a temporary tent ever since.

Before the war, I worked as a nurse in Gaza’s hospitals, caring for others during their most vulnerable moments. Now, I am the one in need of help. My dream is to rebuild my home and restore stability to my life so I can continue contributing to my community.

I am also pregnant, and my baby is due in just a few months. Living in a tent is cold, uncomfortable, and unsafe, especially for a newborn. I don’t want my child to suffer in these conditions, but without a home, I have no other options.

I need your support to rebuild my house. The estimated cost is $40,000, which will cover clearing the debris, laying a new foundation, and rebuilding the structure.
