Hou de klassieke houten tweemaster S.Y. Endlich in de vaart, zodat ze voor goede doelen kan blijven varen.
Sinds 1997 vaart kapitein Roger Linthout vanuit de haven van Nieuwpoort met zijn klassieke houten tweemaster S.Y. Endlich voor goede doelen.
In 2024 kreeg hij de diagnose terminale kanker en zocht hij een oplossing om zijn werk verder te zetten. Net voor zijn overlijden in april 2026, besliste zijn crew om als Endlich Team het schip over te nemen en zo zijn droom verder te zetten.
Hiervoor is een grondige renovatie van het schip nodig. Het Endlich Team is al gestart met behulp van privé kapitaal, maar er is veel meer geld nodig om dit schip varend te houden.
Door jouw steun kan de Endlich voor goede doelen zoals Make-a-Wish, Kinderkankerfonds, Club51 Westkust, … blijven varen, heeft ook de Sint een schip om in december de haven van Nieuwpoort in te varen om de kinderen een fantastische namiddag te geven. Bovendien steun je ineens de vereniging van alle klassieke schepen Nieuwpoort, waardoor volgend jaar ook weer de Open Klassieke Schepen Nieuwpoort kan worden georganiseerd.
Elke donatie, hoe klein ook, draagt bij tot het in stand houden van dit prachtige schip.

Depuis 1997, le capitaine Roger Linthout navigue depuis le port de Nieuport à bord de son voilier classique en bois à deux mâts, le S.Y. Endlich, au profit d'œuvres caritatives.
En 2024, atteint d'un cancer en phase terminale, il cherchait une solution pour poursuivre son action. Peu avant son décès en avril 2026, son équipage a décidé de reprendre le navire sous le nom d'Endlich Team et ainsi perpétuer son rêve.
Ce projet nécessite une rénovation complète du bateau. L'Endlich Team a déjà entamé les travaux grâce à des fonds privés, mais des sommes bien plus importantes sont nécessaires pour que le navire puisse continuer à naviguer.
Grâce à votre soutien, l'Endlich peut continuer à naviguer pour des associations caritatives telles que Make-a-Wish, le Children's Cancer Fund, Club51 Westkust, etc. De plus, Saint Nicolas pourra également faire escale à Nieuport en décembre pour offrir aux enfants un après-midi magique. De plus, votre don soutient simultanément l'Association de tous les navires classiques de Nieuwpoort, ce qui permettra d'organiser à nouveau l'événement Open Classic Ships Nieuwpoort l'année prochaine. Since 1997, Captain Roger Linthout has been sailing his classic wooden two-masted vessel, the S.Y. *Endlich*, out of the port of Nieuwpoort to support charitable causes.
In 2024, he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and sought a way to ensure his work could continue. Shortly before his passing in April 2026, his crew decided to take over the vessel as the "Endlich Team," thereby keeping his dream alive.
This requires a thorough renovation of the ship. The Endlich Team has already begun using private funds, but significantly more capital is needed to keep the vessel seaworthy.
Your support enables the *Endlich* to continue sailing for charities such as Make-A-Wish, the Children's Cancer Fund (Kinderkankerfonds), and Club51 Westkust. It also ensures that Sinterklaas has a ship to sail into the port of Nieuwpoort each December, giving children a fantastic afternoon. Furthermore, you are supporting the Nieuwpoort Classic Ships Association, making it possible to organize the "Open Classic Ships Nieuwpoort" event again next year.
