In 2014, thousands of Yazidi women and children were enslaved by the Islamic State group. 

We will be visiting Kurdistan in November 2025 to help Yazidi women in the refugee camp. We aim to raise 2,500 euro to help them with running costs for, medication, trauma therapy, fuel, stationary, instruments. Unfortunately, there is also a great lack of educational material.

We would very much like to raise money to purchase reading/school books for the school there. In addition to the camp, we want to visit other schools in the area and organize workshops there too. We also want to investigate where the needs lie within different school buildings. We are thinking of new playing equipment in the schoolyard for the children, such as balls, goals, basketbal boards.

We also want to give the children in the camp a fun and creative day. We are preparing to give a workshop to more than 120 children.

We zullen in november 2025 Koerdistan bezoeken om Yezidi-vrouwen in het vluchtelingenkamp daar te helpen. Ons doel is om 2.500 euro op te halen om voor medicijnen, traumabehandeling, brandstof, schrijfwaren, instrumenten, boeken. Helaas is er groot gebrek aan educatief materiaal.

 Wij willen de kinderen in het kamp een leuke creatieve dag te bezorgen. Wij maken voorbereidingen klaar om aan ruim 120 kinderen een leuke workshop te geven .

Heel graag willen wij geld inzamelen om aldaar voor het schooltje lees/schoolboeken aan te kunnen schaffen. 

Naast het kamp willen we andere scholen in de omgeving bezoeken en ook daar workshops organiseren. Daarnaast willen we onderzoeken waar de behoeftes liggen binnen verschillende schoolgebouwen. We denken hierbij aan nieuw speelmateriaal op het schoolplein voor de kinderen als ballen, doeltjes, basketbal borden etc.
