My name is Inna Korobova, I am 42 years old and I am raising funds for needs spinal surgery for progressive scoliosis.
I was diagnosed with scoliosis during a medical check-up at the age of ten, and I have been living with this condition for 32 years now. Since the age of twelve, I have held a permanent disability status. Over the years, we tried everything to halt the progression: strength training, a Milwaukee brace, yoga, and Schroth therapy. I truly did everything in my power, but nothing helps because the curvature is severe and continues to worsen throughout my life. 

Today, my spinal curvature has reached 106 degrees in the thoracic spine and 82 degrees in the lumbar spine. I was caused a visible rib hump, chronic pain, and nerve pain from compression. Simple daily activities have become painful, the condition is now affects the functioning of internal organs and affecting my quality of life.
After medical consultations, doctors have recommended surgical correction. My surgery is scheduled for August 20 in Dnipro, Ukraine.
Dnipro is not our family’s hometown, so in addition to the cost of surgery, there will also be travel, accommodation, food, hospital stay, and rehabilitation expenses.
The estimated cost of the surgery itself is $12,500 USD.
My family is contributing as much as we can, but this is a very large amount for us, and we are asking for support to help make this surgery possible.
I received help raising part of the amount, and I am raising the rest myself with my family.

Scoliosis is a serious spinal condition that does not go away on its own. The curvature progresses day by day, causing severe pain, chest deformity, breathing difficulties, and limitations in everyday life.
