Hope for Movement

Living with dystonia: a voice for awareness, access to treatment, and the fight for dignity and movement.
Be the first to support this fundraiser!
In the vibrant heart of Cape Town, lives a remarkable young girl named Zeah. Zeah is the first and only child in South Africa diagnosed with Dystonia, a debilitating condition that severely limits her mobility and independence. Despite the daily challenges she faces, Zeah's spirit remains unbroken, and her dreams of walking and moving freely keep her hope alive.
Hope for Movement Campaign is dedicated to raising funds for a life-changing operation for Zeah. With your support, we aim to gather R500,000 to cover the medical expenses for Deep Brain Stimulation surgery that will enable her to walk, move, and experience the joy of mobility just like other children her age.
How Funds Will Be Used:
- Medical Expenses: Covering the cost of the Deep Brain Stimulation surgery and postoperative care.
- Therapy and Rehabilitation: Ensuring Zeah receives the best possible physical therapy and rehabilitation post-surgery.
- Medical Equipment: Providing essential equipment and aids for her recovery and daily life.
Impact:
Your generous donations will give Zeah the chance to:
- Walk and Move Freely: Experience the independence and freedom that many take for granted.
- Improve Quality of Life: Enhance her daily experiences and overall well-being.
- Achieve Her Dreams: Empower Zeah to pursue her dreams with renewed hope and determination.
By contributing to Zeah's journey, you're not only helping her achieve mobility but also filling her life with possibilities and hope. Thank you for believing in Zeah's potential and joining us in making a lasting impact.
