Tijdens deze gezegende maand Ramadan willen wij samen 140 iftars mogelijk maken voor onze broeders en zusters in Palestina, op de Westelijke Jordaanoever. Deze actie ondersteunt niet alleen gezinnen in nood, maar draagt ook bij aan het werk van de ecological farm in Be’lin, waar wordt gewerkt aan duurzame landbouw, voedselzekerheid en rechtvaardigheid voor de lokale gemeenschap.
Voor €35 kunnen we een volledige iftar-maaltijd verzorgen voor een gezin dat het hard nodig heeft. Terwijl wij in rust en veiligheid ons vasten verbreken, zijn er gezinnen op de Westelijke Jordaanoever die dagelijks geconfronteerd worden met tekorten aan basisvoorzieningen. Met deze iftars ondersteunen we hen direct én helpen we tegelijkertijd het lokale ecologische project dat zich inzet voor land, gemeenschap en toekomst.
Ramadan is de maand van barmhartigheid, delen en saamhorigheid. Dit is onze kans om samen een verschil te maken.

De Profeet ﷺ zei:
"Wie een vastende voedt (bij het verbreken van zijn vasten), krijgt dezelfde beloning zonder dat de beloning van de vastende vermindert."
Laten we samen deze beloning vermenigvuldigen en 140 gezinnen een waardevolle iftar bezorgen, terwijl we tegelijkertijd de ecological farm en haar gemeenschap versterken.

During this blessed month of Ramadan, we want to make 140 iftars possible together for our brothers and sisters in Palestine, in the West Bank. This initiative not only supports families in need, but also contributes to the work of the ecological farm in Be’lin, where efforts are being made toward sustainable agriculture, food security, and justice for the local community.
For €35, we can provide a complete iftar meal for a family that truly needs it. While we break our fast in peace and safety, there are families in the West Bank who face shortages of basic necessities every day. Through these iftars we support them directly and at the same time help the local ecological project that is committed to land, community, and the future.
Ramadan is the month of mercy, sharing, and unity. This is our chance to make a difference together.
