Hello everyone,
I'm Frank (50) truck driver at Bpost, I'm married in the meantime, and I have two daughters, 12 and 22 years old.
In October 2021 I got the news of bile duct cancer. A rare cancer with low survival rates. To date, July 2022, I have already had many chemotherapy treatments and there would already be a drug that stops the cancer.
Only it is not available in EU, but in US. I can order it from the professor but at my own expense, and it should work after 4 months. Unfortunately, it is not certain because it is a new drug.
For me, this is the only alternative to be able to continue living, next to the existing therapy. There is therefore no medicine other than Tibsovo that is suitable for my kind of cancer.
Would you like to help me to still get the medicine, please! even the minimum amount helps me a bit. It's my only chance to survive that disease or I'll be chained to chemo for how long?
According to my latest information this costs 38.000 Euro. The drug has been approved by EMA, but no suitable producer can be found, so it is not reimbursed by the health care system, so please support me. The Ministry of Health is also aware of this and advises me to consult with the BSF which is again a procedural battle (I did). This is not only about my life, but also about my wife and children,..... and fellow sufferers.

Ik ben Frank (50) vrachtwagen chauffeur bij Bpost, ben ondertussen getrouwd, en heb twee dochters 12 en 22j.
In oktober 2021 kreeg ik het nieuws van galwegkanker. Een zeldzame kanker met weinig overlevingskansen. Tot op heden julli 2022 heb ik al menig chemokuur achter de rug en er zou al een medicijn bestaan, die de kanker stopt.
Alleen is deze niet verkrijgbaar in EU, wel in VS. Ik mag het van de professor bestellen maar dan op eigen kosten, en het zou na 4 maanden moeten werken. Helaas is men er niet zeker van omdat het een nieuw medicijn is.
Voor mij is dit het enige alternatief om verder te kunnen leven, naast de bestaande therapie. Er is dan ook geen ander medicijn dan Tibsovo die geschikt is voor mijn soort kanker.
Wil je me helpen om alsnog het medicijn te bekomen, graag! zelfs het minimumbedrag helpt me wat vooruit. Het is nog mijn enige kans om die ziekte te overleven, anders blijf ik geketend aan chemo, voor hoelang?
Volgens mijn laatst informatie kost dit 38.000 Euro,. Het middel is goedgekeurd door EMA maar men vind geen geschikte producent, daardoor wordt niet terugbetaalt door de ziekenzorg, dus steun me aub. Het ministerie van volksgezondheid is hier ook van op de hoogte en raad me aan voor het BSF te raadplegen wat opnieuw een procedureslag is (heb ik gedaan). Het gaat hier niet alleen om mijn leven, maar ook over mijn vrouw en kinderen,..... en lotgenoten.
