Dear Sir/ Madam,
URGENT FUNDRAISING APPEAL FOR NAIRAKA GIFT’S LIFE SAVING TREATMENT
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Dr. Jamir Kabuye Jjingo; the Executive Director for Save African Initiative in Uganda. I am writing to you on behalf of the organization to seek support for a 6-year old girl in need of a bone marrow transplant as soon as possible.
Save African Children Initiative is a registered non-profit under number: 08002002833313 (Uganada) and we are dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children and communities in Uganda. Our vision is a world where children are healthy, educated and empowered.
We urgently seek your support for a critical cause; to save the life of Nairaka Gift, a resilient 6-year-old girl from Bumanya Village, Bulamogi County, Kaliro District, who has been battling leukemia for the past three years.
Nairaka lost her biological mother during childbirth, and currently lives with her father, a step mother, grand-mother, and 4 other siblings. The father; Mr. Godfrey Kiirya is a 33-year old peasant farmer in Bumanya Village, Bulamogi County in Kaliro, District in Eastern Uganda. He is supported by one 28-year old stay home mother; Nabirye Juliet currently the step mother to Gif. She sometimes hawks fruits from their garden like jackfruit and small bananas to support the family’s livelihood. The family is a low-class family and Mr. Kiirya can barely afford a basic meal for his family. He is now faced with the challenge of saving his daughter’s life.
Currently, Nairaka is receiving treatment at Divine Mercy Medical Centre in Kaliro Uganda but the bills are increasing and her life is dependent on oxygen and painkillers as she awaits further treatment. The doctors have recommended a life-saving bone marrow transplant, a procedure that comes at a significant cost. Our efforts to secure the necessary funds have led us to Nairobi West Hospital in Kenya, where the treatment is estimated at $25,000 USD.
In the face of this financial challenge, we are initiating a fundraising campaign to give Nairaka Gift a fighting chance at life. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. Your support can bring hope to a young life in desperate need.
Additionally, we welcome any assistance in spreading the word about this campaign within your network.
Together, we can make a meaningful impact on Gift's journey to recovery. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
