Wij starten deze crowdfunding voor onze prachtige vriendin Evi. 

Door een neurologische aandoening kan ze geen LED-licht en digitaal geluid verdragen. Ze krijgt er neurologische stoornissen en chronische zenuwpijn door. De impact daarvan op haar leven en functioneren is erg groot. Haar wereld werd erg klein, want LED-licht is overal. Toch slaagt ze er altijd in om schoonheid te vinden en brengen in kleine dingen.

Haar huis is afgestemd op haar specifieke medische noden, en is gelegen in een betrokken buurt, waar ze warm omringd is en doorheen de jaren een kostbaar zorgnetwerk opbouwde . Het is niet zomaar een huis, het is een veilige thuis; een plek waar ze kan bekomen en herbronnen en van waaruit ze op haar eigen unieke manier de wereld mooier maakt. 

Het is echter financieel onhaalbaar geworden om op deze plek te blijven zonder steun van buitenaf. Maar verhuizen heeft enorme gevolgen. Vanwege de specifieke woonzorgnoden is er geen alternatief voorhanden, en er is nauwelijks perspectief.

In een huis en omgeving die niet voldoende aangepast zijn en zonder toegang tot haar sociale en zorgnetwerk, dreigt ze haar laatste zelfredzaamheid te verliezen, en daarmee de zorg voor zichzelf en haar kind. 

We hebben alle mogelijkheden onderzocht, maar uiteindelijk lijkt crowdfunding de enige oplossing, en de tijd dringt. 

Waaraan zou het geld besteed worden?  

Alle donaties gaan integraal naar woonkosten: het behoud van de woning, noodzakelijk onderhoud en aanpassingen.

• 50 000€ maakt het mogelijk om de woonzekerheid op korte termijn te stabiliseren en geeft tijd om een duurzame oplossing te vinden
• 100 000€ maakt een haalbare financiering mogelijk op langere termijn
• 200 000€ verzekert het behoud van het huis op lange termijn en laat ook de noodzakelijke onderhoudswerken toe.
   

Haar thuis kunnen houden, betekent voor Evi gezond genoeg blijven om er echt te zijn voor haar kind, en om een veilige plek te hebben om in te helen, en op een dag haar vleugels weer te spreiden.

We are launching this crowdfunding campaign for our wonderful friend Evi.

Due to a neurological condition, she cannot tolerate LED light and digital sound. This causes her to develop neurological disorders and chronic nerve pain. The impact on her life and functioning is very significant. Her world has become very small, because LED light is everywhere. Yet, she always manages to find beauty in small things.

Her home is tailored to her specific medical needs and is located in a committed neighborhood, where she is warmly surrounded and has built up a valuable care network. It is not just a house; it is a safe home; a place where she can recover and recharge, and from which she makes the world more beautiful in her own unique way.

However, it has become financially unfeasible to remain in this place without external support. But moving has enormous consequences. Due to her specific residential care needs, there is no alternative available, and there is hardly any perspective. In a home and environment that are not sufficiently adapted, and without access to her social and care network, she risks losing her last independence, and with it, the care for herself and her child.

We have explored all possibilities, but ultimately, crowdfunding seems to be the only solution, and time is running out.

What would the money be spent on?

All donations go entirely towards housing costs: preserving the home, necessary maintenance, and adaptations.

• €50,000 makes it possible to stabilize housing security in the short term and provides time to find a sustainable solution.
• €100,000 enables feasible financing in the longer term.
• €200,000 ensures the preservation of the house in the long term and also allows for necessary maintenance work.

For Evi, being able to keep her home means staying healthy enough to truly be there for her child, having a safe place to heal, and one day to spread her wings again.
