New Tent for a Troubadour
A new tent for a troubadour.
Dear friends,
As you know I travel across many countries in Europe as Troubadour with my small VW campervan in which I can sleep overnight.
But for longer and more comfortable stays during my tours in Scotland, Scandinavia and Germany I sleep in one of my two tents I own. On the fundraising picture you see my 30 years De Waard tent “Grote Stern” at lake Unden in Sweden. Another tent I have is a Swedish Hilleberg Tent “Namatje G2”.
Both tents are, after a use of over twenty years, leaking too much and have some damages that I can't sleep in them anymore without the risk of becoming wet or that will break down sooner or later.
The last two years were very tough for us musicians to earn money. Slowly the situation becomes more relaxed and as it seems now gigs are coming in now again. I have a tour planned in the summer to Sweden and Norway and for that I need to buy a new tent.
My plan and wish is to buy a tent that at least holds for ten years and therefor I want to buy a new De Waard “Pimpelmees” as you can see on the picture.
The prices for a De Waard Pimpelmees is € 1.099 + some extra's it will cost around € 1.250,--.
It's a lightweight tent but very strong and wind resist made from cotton (220gr/m2) and strong materials. De Waard is a company that makes extra ordinary good tents that holds for many years and in almost all circumstances.
The tent will be available around May/June this year, so in time for my summer and autumn tours.
Of course I try to do all my best to gather and earn money to buy this new piece of my tour equipment but your help would be very welcome.
I will keep you updated about the fund raising and about the tent.
Thanks for reading and for supporting.
Your troubadour, Stefan van de Sande.

Fundraiser organised for:
Troubadour & Songwriter Stefan van de Sande
As modern Troubadour & Songwriter I travel across Europe to sing and play my songs.
In my Volkswagen Caddy, packed with guitars, tents and equipment I go from town to town. To share my songs and music, to share my stories and ideas.
To bring the good news.
That there is always a way out, always a new start,
a new beginning.
For some of us life is a small path along the ridge. For others life is a broad way. But no matter who you are or how you look.
Let's share our lives because together it's much easier.
