Help Shahd care for her baby and the surviving members of her family

My name Is Sarah, I live in the Netherlands and for some time I've been organising a Formula Milk initiative for mothers and small infants in Gaza.

It is in this capacity that I was contacted by Shahd. She needed milk urgently for her hungry two month old son.

Her living situation is very precarious, having lost almost her entire family, including her young husband to an Israeli airstrike.

She is now alone, left as sole carer and provider to her baby, her 15 yr old younger brother and her husband's mother.

Until recently living in a tent near the beach in Al Mawasi Camp (Khan Younis), three weeks back her tent was totally destroyed by the collapsing roof of a nearby building during a storm. At which point she had to move away and onto the street.

She is in need of absolutely everything - food, diapers, hygiene products, medicine for her mother in law, more blankets and warm clothing for her small son Yamen …… who has the most beautiful smile in the world 😊

(She has a valid ID and her present circumstances have been checked out by a friend of mine living in Gaza)

Mijn naam is Sarah, ik woon in Nederland en organiseer al enige tijd een initiatief voor flesvoeding voor moeders en baby's in Gaza.

In die hoedanigheid werd ik benaderd door Shahd. Ze had dringend melk nodig voor haar hongerige zoontje van twee maanden.

Haar woonsituatie is zeer precair, omdat ze bijna haar hele familie, inclusief haar jonge echtgenoot, is verloren gegaan bij een Israëlische luchtaanval.

Ze is nu alleenstaand en moet in haar eentje zorgen voor haar baby, haar 15-jarige jongere broer en de moeder van haar man.

Tot voor kort woonde ze in een tent vlakbij het strand in het kamp Al Mawasi (Khan Younis), maar drie weken geleden werd haar tent volledig verwoest door het instortende dak van een nabijgelegen gebouw tijdens een storm. Daarop moest ze verhuizen en op straat terechtkomen.

Ze heeft werkelijk alles nodig: eten, luiers, hygiëneproducten, medicijnen voor haar schoonmoeder, meer dekens en warme kleding voor haar zoontje Yamen... die de mooiste glimlach ter wereld heeft 😊

(Ze heeft een geldig identiteitsbewijs en haar huidige situatie is gecontroleerd door een vriend van mij die in Gaza woont.)
