Belgian Athlete Alpine skiing. Comeback from injury.
Hello my name is Axelle Mollin, I am 21 years old And member of the Belgian national team.
I started my little dream on the age of 3. my parents had the first indoor slope in the world so I was basically born on snow ;)
My ski racer journey started at the age of 6.
Along the way I have won numerous national titles, podiums and have represented Belgium at the youth Olympics festival in Bosnia Herzegovina in 2019, world junior championships in val di Fassa 2019 and Narvik 2020.
My current position in the world is #125 with 27.00 points in slalom.
I unfortunately had a big injury last season. januari 14th at the EC in Pozza di fassa. I had emergency surgery at my leg and knee.
so that meant that my season was very short. And my rehabilitation time pretty long.
My federation did not support me with my surgery and rehab costs.
Now I am in full progress to kick off my comeback season, stronger than ever before
Hallo, mijn naam is Axelle Mollin, ik ben 21 jaar oud en lid van het Belgische nationale team.
Ik begon mijn kleine droom op 3-jarige leeftijd. Mijn ouders hadden de eerste indoorpiste ter wereld, dus ik ben eigenlijk op sneeuw geboren ;)
Mijn reis als skiracer begon op 6-jarige leeftijd.
Onderweg heb ik verschillende nationale titels gewonnen, podiumplaatsen behaald en België vertegenwoordigd op de Olympische Spelen voor jongeren in Bosnië-Herzegovina in 2019, wereldkampioenschappen voor junioren in val di Fassa 2019 en Narvik 2020.
Mijn huidige positie op de wereldranglijst is #125 met 27,00 punten in slalom.
Helaas heb ik vorig seizoen een zware blessure gehad. 14 januari op het EK in Pozza di Fassa. Ik had een spoedoperatie aan mijn been en knie, dus dat betekende dat mijn seizoen erg kort was. En mijn revalidatietijd vrij lang. Mijn federatie steunde mij niet met mijn operatie- en revalidatiekosten.
Nu ben ik volop bezig om mijn comebackseizoen te beginnen, sterker dan ooit tevoren.

Mon parcours de skieur de compétition a commencé à l'âge de 6 ans.
Au fil du temps, j'ai remporté de nombreux titres nationaux, des podiums et j'ai représenté la Belgique au festival olympique de la jeunesse en Bosnie-Herzégovine en 2019, aux championnats du monde juniors à Val di Fassa en 2019 et à Narvik en 2020.
Ma position actuelle dans le monde est #125 avec 27.00 points en slalom.
J'ai malheureusement eu une grosse blessure la saison dernière. Le 14 janvier aux CE de Pozza di Fassa. J'ai été opéré d'urgence à la jambe et au genou, ce qui signifie que ma saison a été très courte. Et ma période de rééducation a été assez longue. Ma fédération ne m'a pas aidé à couvrir les frais de l'opération et de la rééducation.
Aujourd'hui, je suis en pleine progression pour lancer ma saison de retour, plus forte que jamais.
