There has been recorded histories of tension and violence between different communities and groups in Africa often fueled by historical grievances, competing interest or cultural differences. Communal or regional clashes occur when tensions between different community groups escalate into violence which requires a systemic conflict resolution approach focusing on dialogue, empathy, and understanding. Effective strategies include mediation, community engagement, and addressing underlying issues to foster reconciliation and promote peaceful coexistence.

It is this diverse experience gathered from my visits to places with sad experience of communal crisis and how they managed to resolve the crisis and cohabitate peacefully afterwards that I want to share in my book to guide and prevent future reoccurrence of such ugly trends.

Rwanda has a strong historical tie to avoidable ethnic and communal clash of 1994 which led to death of over 2 million people including children and women.

I am soliciting the support of people around the world to support my history digging adventure in preparation for a better and peaceful coexistence tomorrow.

I promise to send a postcard of my visits to historical sites in Rwanda to anyone that support my mission with $10. Thank you all as you join me in this journey with your financial support, suggestion and ideas
