Merhaba, ben Sevil.
Evliyim ve 6 yaşında dünya tatlısı bir kızım var. 2024 yılında 40 yaşıma henüz girmişken aldığım “Metastatik Meme Kanseri” teşhisi ile çok zor bir süreçten geçiyorum.
Kurtulma şansımı artırmak için, 17 Mayıs 2024’te İstanbul’da bir cerrahi operasyon geçirdim (bunu da kendim ödedim; yaklaşık 9.000 euro, faturaları güncelleme sayfasında bulabilirsiniz) ve 17 Haziran 2024’te Almanya’da Dendritik Hücre tedavisine başladım.
Tedavi toplamda 3 aşamalı olarak ortalama 6 ay kadar sürdü ve ne yazık ki sigorta şirketim bu büyük maliyeti (her aşama yaklaşık 32.000 euro ve toplamda 96.000 euro) karşılamayı reddetti. Bu nedenle uzun bir yasal sürece girdik ve tedavi masraflarımı kendim ödemem gerekti.
Bu tedaviyi ödeyebilecek bir finansal gücümüz yoktu. O nedenle, süreçte maddi olarak tükenmemek için bu bağış kampanyasını başlattım ve sizlerden gelen destek bizi hem çok mutlu etti hem de umut oldu. Bunun yanında ilaçlar, konaklama, takviyeler, ek tedaviler gibi devam eden birçok harcamamız var.
Almanya’daki tedavinin Aralık 2024’te tamamlanmasının ardından Şubat 2025’te yeni bir ilaç protokolüne başladım. Temmuz 2025’te yapılan kontrollerden sonra ise bu metabolik terapi protokolünü Eindhoven’da bir klinik ile çalışmaya başlayarak daha geniş kapsamlı bir hâle getirdik. Bu metabolik terapiyle ilgili görüntülemeler, ilaç masrafları, kan testleri ve tamamlayıcı tedaviler dâhil her şeyi de sigorta ödemediği için biz ödüyoruz (aylık 2.500–3.000 euro).
Kasım ayında da Utrecht’teki onkolog ile gerilemeyi desteklemek için geleneksel bir tedavi olan antihormon tedavisine başladım. Yani şu anda hem metabolik tedaviyi hem de geleneksel tedaviyi birlikte alıyorum.
Bir yandan borçlarımızı öderken bir yandan da bu tedaviler için para yetiştirmeye çalışıyoruz.

I am married and have a wonderful 6-year-old daughter. In 2024, just after turning 40, I was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer and I have been going through a very difficult journey ever since.
In order to increase my chances of healing, I had a surgical operation in Istanbul on May 17, 2024 (which I paid for myself — approximately €9,000; invoices can be found on the updates page), and on June 17, 2024, I started Dendritic Cell therapy in Germany.
The treatment consisted of three stages and lasted approximately six months. Unfortunately, insurance refused to cover this huge cost (each stage costs around €32,000, in total €96,000). As a result, we started a long legal process and I had to cover the treatment expenses myself.
We did not have the financial sources to afford this treatment. Therefore, in order not to be totally bankrupt, I initiated this fundraiser. The support I have received from you has not only made us incredibly grateful but has also given us hope. In addition, we continue to have many ongoing expenses such as medications, accommodation, supplements, and complementary treatments.
After completing the treatment in Germany in December 2024, I started a new medication protocol in February 2025. Following the check-ups in July 2025, we expanded this metabolic therapy protocol by working with a clinic in Eindhoven, making it more comprehensive. Since insurance does not cover any part of this metabolic therapy — including imaging, medication costs, blood tests, and complementary treatments — we pay for all of it ourselves (approximately €2,500–3,000 per month).
In November, I also began conventional anti-hormonal therapy with my oncologist in Utrecht to support disease regression. This means that I am currently receiving both metabolic therapy and conventional treatment simultaneously.
While trying to pay off our debts, we are also struggling to cover the costs of these ongoing treatments.

Ik ben getrouwd en heb een geweldige dochter van 6 jaar oud. In 2024, kort nadat ik 40 werd, kreeg ik de diagnose uitgezaaide borstkanker (metastatische borstkanker), en sindsdien ga ik door een zeer moeilijke periode.
Om mijn kans op herstel te vergroten, heb ik op 17 mei 2024 een chirurgische ingreep in Istanboel ondergaan (die ik zelf heb betaald — ongeveer €9.000; de facturen zijn te vinden op de updatepagina), en op 17 juni 2024 ben ik in Duitsland gestart met dendritische celtherapie.
De behandeling bestond uit drie fases en duurde ongeveer zes maanden. Helaas weigerde de zorgverzekering deze hoge kosten te vergoeden (elke fase kost ongeveer €32.000, in totaal €96.000). Daardoor zijn we een langdurig juridisch traject gestart en moest ik de behandelkosten zelf betalen.
Wij hadden niet de financiële middelen om deze behandeling te bekostigen. Daarom ben ik deze inzamelingsactie gestart om te voorkomen dat we financieel volledig uitgeput raken. De steun die ik van jullie heb ontvangen heeft ons niet alleen enorm dankbaar gemaakt, maar ons ook hoop gegeven. Daarnaast hebben we nog steeds veel doorlopende kosten, zoals medicijnen, verblijfskosten, supplementen en aanvullende behandelingen.
Na afronding van de behandeling in Duitsland in december 2024 ben ik in februari 2025 gestart met een nieuw medicatieprotocol. Na de controles in juli 2025 hebben we dit metabolische therapieprotocol uitgebreid door samen te werken met een kliniek in Eindhoven, waardoor het een bredere en intensievere aanpak werd. Aangezien de verzekering geen enkel onderdeel van deze metabolische therapie vergoedt — waaronder beeldvorming, medicatiekosten, bloedonderzoeken en aanvullende behandelingen — betalen wij dit volledig zelf (ongeveer €2.500–3.000 per maand).
In november ben ik daarnaast in Utrecht gestart met een conventionele antihormonale behandeling bij mijn oncoloog om de ziekte terug te dringen. Dat betekent dat ik momenteel zowel metabolische therapie als conventionele behandeling tegelijk ontvang.
Terwijl we proberen onze schulden af te lossen, hebben we moeite om de kosten van deze lopende behandelingen te blijven dragen.

22 Haziran'da baslayan yardim cagrimiz uzerine kiymetli desteklerinizle toplam 1800 euro bagis topladik.
Temmuz ayinda, sadece klinikte aldigim tedaviler icin su detayda odeme yaptim; serumlar icin toplam 585 euro, yapilan test icin 454 euro ve sigortanin odemedigi ilaclar icin ise 857 euro odeyerek toplamda 1900 euro harcama yaptim. Bunun 1800 eurosunu bagislarinizla odedik.
Her ay klinikte aldigim tedavilere ek olarak tamamlayici diger tedaviler (akupunktur, homeopati, takviyeler gibi) aylik olarak yaklasik 3000 euro tutuyor.
Bu nedenle tedavilerime devam edebilmem icin destekleriniz cok degerli. Fatura fotograflarini da bu guncellemede bulabilirsiniz.

Following the support call that started on June 22, we have raised a total of €1,800 thanks to your generous donations.
In July, I paid for the following medical expenses for my treatments at the clinic alone: €585 for IV infusions, €454 for lab test and €857 for medications not covered by my health insurance. This brought my total clinic-related expenses to €1,900, of which €1,800 was covered by your donations.

Hi everyone,
Today we received the results of this week's PET scan, and we have some wonderful news to share.
It has now been six months since I started antihormone therapy. As I shared before, we already saw signs of improvement after the first three months. At this latest check-up, we heard that the tumors are continuing to shrink, although slowly, and that the metabolic activity in the affected areas has decreased even further.
The best part is that there is no sign of any progression. This is especially encouraging considering that we experienced some unfortunate interruptions to my treatment during March and April.
Our oncologist is both surprised and very happy to see such a positive response in such a short period of time. We, however, believe these good results are the outcome of the synergy between my conventional treatment and the metabolic therapy I have been pursuing together with other doctors. I also believe that the effort I have personally put into my recovery—through detoxification, lifestyle changes, and other supportive approaches—has contributed to these results.
Although the progress is gradual, hearing that we are moving in the right direction has given us so much hope.
We could never have come this far without your support, and I wanted to share this wonderful news with you as soon as possible. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kind messages, your prayers, and your donations. Your support has helped us feel that we are not alone on this journey.
To continue healing and to keep following my metabolic therapy, we still need financial support. Unfortunately, the costs remain very high. Hi everyone,
We had good news from last week’s PET scan. The metabolic protocol together with antihormone therapy worked synergistically, causing both a reduction in the tumor’s size and a decrease in metabolic activity. Hearing this good news felt wonderful — despite the various side effects, we needed this motivation to keep going.
I will continue my current treatments and my next check-up will be in June.
We are grateful that you have not left us alone in this journey and that you have supported us with your kind wishes, prayers, and donations.
