Please help Isa to say goodbye to her terminally ill friend Richard

I would like to bring attention to a dear friend of mine, Isa and the challenging situation her friend Richard is currently facing. Richard, a dedicated dog trainer who has devoted years of his life to training assistance dogs for noble causes, was unexpectedly diagnosed with terminal liver cancer in April. Despite the grim prognosis, he remains in high spirits.

Isa, a close friend of Richard's, has been deeply affected by this news. She has a strong bond with Richard, and shares a passion for animals. Isa is determined to visit Richard in the United States to offer her support during his difficult time. Additionally, she is planning to take a few weeks off work to be by his side and contribute to organizing a "Celebration of Life" gathering for Richard's friends and acquaintances.

In light of these circumstances, I have taken the initiative to launch a crowdfunding campaign to assist Isa with the financial aspects of her journey and extended stay in the United States. I am reaching out to our community, seeking any contributions that can help alleviate Isa's financial burdens and ensure that she can provide the support Richard needs. Dit is Richard met de hond Harry. Hij heeft jarenlang (hulp)honden getraind voor het goede doel. Richard werd in april plotseling ziek, erg ziek. Hij kreeg leverkanker en is nu zo goed als uitbehandeld.

Isa heeft zijn Amerikaanse vriend via andere vrienden leren kennen. Zij delen hun passie voor honden. Ze is hem vaak gaan opzoeken en beschouwt hem als een van haar beste vrienden. Ze kan het niet steeds bevatten en is erg van slag.

Ze wil hem binnenkort kan opzoeken en hem ondersteunen. Ook is hij uitbehandeld, zijn er therapieën mogelijk om hem soelaas te brengen. Haar reis- en verblijf moeten bekostigd worden. Ze wil een aantal weken verlof nemen om hem te ondersteunen.

Verder wil ze hem ook een waardig afscheid geven. Richard heeft geen familie meer maar vele vrienden. Een ‘Celebration of Life’ wordt gepland zodat hij op een fatsoenlijke manier afscheid van al zijn vrienden en kennissen afscheid kan nemen.

Wie ben ik
Deze crowdfunding is op mijn initiatief gestart om Isa te helpen, zodat ze Richard kan ondersteunen en geen financiële zorgen zal hebben.
Isa en ik kennen elkaar al ruim 22 jaar. Ze is betrouwbaar, lief en zorgzaam. Ze heeft altijd hard gewerkt, maar heeft niet genoeg gespaard om dit volledig te kunnen bekostigen. Op deze manier hoop ik haar te kunnen helpen iets te doen voor Richard door langer te blijven in de VS.
