Members of the Aquaterra Ecological Society are dedicated to saving rare and endangered fish species in the Danube Basin, Romania, along with all freshwater habitats and the coastal area of the Black Sea.
At our association headquarters, we are establishing a small-scale pilot laboratory where teachers, accompanied by students, will breed small-sized fish species and aquatic invertebrates for the purpose of repopulating natural habitats in Romania.
In Bucovina, the village of Plutonița, Frasin City, we are developing a large-scale pilot station for breeding the rarest fish species on the brink of extinction, such as Romanichtys valsanicola, Hucho hucho, Danube salmon, Zingel zingel, Zingel strebeli, Scardinius Rachovitzai, Carassius carassius, Stizotedion volgense, Umbra krameri, Knipowvitschia cameliae, Benthophyllus stellatus, Benthophylloides brauneri, and the six species of Danubian sturgeons, among others.
These species are on the brink of extinction. We are seeking financial support to complete the special facilities for raising live food for the fry of these species, raising them for 1-3 years in captivity, and repopulating the wild natural habitats of rivers, ponds, lakes, the Danube, and the Danube Delta.
Our motto is: growth, reproduction, repopulation, and saving from extinction.

Membrii Societății Ecologice Aquaterra sunt implicați în salvarea celor rare și amenințate specii de pești din bazinul Dunării, România cu toate habitatele apelor dulci și zona costieră a Mării Negre.
La sediul asociație noastre construim un laborator micropilot- unde profesorii însoți de elevi și studenți reproduc speciile de talie mică de pești și nevertebrate acvatice în vederea repopulării habitatelor naturale din România.
În Bucovina, sat Plutonița, Oraș Frasin dezvoltăm o stațiune macropilot- pentru reproducerea celor mai rare specii de pești aflate în pragul dispariției, Romanichtys valsanicola, Hucho hucho, Danube salmon, Zingel zingel, Zingel strebeli, Scardinius Rachovitzai, Carassius carassius, Stizotedion volgense, Umbra krameri, Knipowvitschia cameliae, Benthophyllus stellatus, Benthophylloides brauneri, cele șase specii de sturioni Dunăreni etc.
Aceste specii sunt în pragul dispariției. Cerem sprijin financiar pentru finalizarea amenajărilor speciale de creștere a stație de hrană vie pentru puietul acestor specii, creșterea timp de 1-3 ani în captivitate și repopularea habitatelor naturale sălbatice din râuri, bălți, lacuri, Dunăre și Delta Dunării.
Deviza noastră este: creștere, reproducere, repopulare și salvare de la dispariție.
Centrul nostru este că o mică Arcă a lui Noe și este singura de acest fel din Sud Estul Europei. Vă mulțumim pentru sprijin!
