Support Ukrainian children’s education at a charity school.
In Ukraine lack power and heat due to the war. We need to install solar panels so kids can keep learning in charity school.
Ukraine is currently facing a humanitarian catastrophe. Due to weekly Russian missile attacks on Ukraine's energy grid, millions of people are living without heat, electricity, hot water, or even sewage services. Outdoor temperatures have remained at -20°C for two months now, and many apartments are near or even below freezing. Power plants and thermal stations have been destroyed by missiles. Consequently, schools and kindergartens that lack autonomous heating and power supplies have been forced to close.
For more than 9 years, our Charitable Foundation “Charity School ‘Smart Future’” has been providing free IT education to children from vulnerable and socially disadvantaged groups in Ukraine. Our beneficiaries include orphans, children with disabilities, children from large families, children of military personnel, internally displaced children, and children who lost their homes due to the war.
To date, we have educated more than 3,500 children. Many of our students have continued their education in specialized universities, secured employment in IT companies, or received internship opportunities. Our mission is to give children not only knowledge, but also real opportunities for a stable future.
Due to ongoing power outages caused by the war, our educational process is under constant threat. To enable all these children to continue their education and to provide our foundation with heat and electricity, we urgently need power inverters, solar panels, and battery storage.
Therefore, we kindly ask to consider supporting our foundation by assisting with the purchase or provision of power inverters, batteries and sollar pannels. This support will allow us to continue our educational programs and directly impact the lives of hundreds of children. Implementing this system ensures educational continuity for children while providing a vital lifeline for families to stay warm, recharge devices, and eat. This is critical as 30% of Kyiv's residential buildings lack heating, with indoor temperatures averaging just 5°C
The amount needed to purchase this system is about 15000 euro.
