Afbraak / Verhuis Koninklijke Mortsel Stars Base- en Softballclub
Plaatsmaken voor een themapark nadat onze club 40 jaar op deze locatie heeft mogen staan. Recreatie vervangen door recreatie.
Na een bestaan van 40 jaar zal Koninklijke Mortsel Stars Base- en Softballclub hun huidige locatie aan de krijgsbaan te Mortsel verplicht moeten verlaten.
De huidige locatie zal voor andere doeleinden worden gebruikt. Speculaties doen de ronde dat Captain Jack hier een themapark zal bouwen.
Het afbreken (EN financieren) van de huidige locatie dient door de sportclub zelf te gebeuren zonder steun van de verschillende overheden.
De werkingsmiddelen die we als club de laatste jaren hebben verzameld door verschillende evenementen en (buitenlandse)tornooien te organiseren, worden tot de laatste cent gebruikt voor de afbraak.
Als sportclub hebben we de financiële moeilijkheid om de nieuwe locatie mogelijk te maken.
Het veld werd voorzien, maar voor een toilet, kantine en tweede veld is er niets voorzien… We gaan van een goed draaiende club naar het uiterste minimum.
Après 40 ans d'existence, le Koninklijke Mortsel Stars Base- en Softballclub devra quitter son emplacement actuel au Krijgsbaan à Mortsel.
L'emplacement actuel sera utilisé pour la construction du parc à thème "Captain Jack". Les loisirs seront remplacés par des réactions payantes à Mortsel.
La démolition (ET le financement) de l'emplacement actuel doit être faite par le club sportif lui-même sans le soutien des différents gouvernements.
Les ressources opérationnelles que nous, en tant que club, avons collectées ces dernières années en organisant divers événements et tournois (étrangers) sont utilisées jusqu'au dernier centime pour la démolition.
En tant que club sportif, nous avons des difficultés financières pour rendre possible le nouvel emplacement.
Le terrain a été aménagé, mais rien n'a été prévu pour les toilettes, la cantine et le second terrain… On passe d'un club bien rodé au strict minimum.
After an existence of 40 years, Koninklijke Mortsel Stars Base- en Softballclub will have to leave their current location at the Krijgsbaan in Mortsel.
The current location will be used for building the "Captain Jack" theme park. Recreation will be replaced by paying reaction in Mortsel.
The demolition (AND financing) of the current location must be done by the sports club itself without support from the various governments.
The operational resources that we as a club have collected in recent years by organizing various events and (foreign) tournaments are used to the last penny for the demolition.
As a sports club we have the financial difficulty to make the new location possible.
The field has been provided, but nothing has been provided for a toilet, canteen and second field… We are going from a well-running club to the bare minimum.

Ondertussen is buiten bijna alles afgebroken.
Afgelopen weekend werd de scoorderstoren ook afgebroken en werd het laatste steenpuin klaargelegd voor de volgende containers.
