Met deze steunactie willen we een gedenkbank voor Francis realiseren. Een blijvende, tastbare plek om te herinneren.
Francis liet een diepe indruk achter bij iedereen die hem kende. Zijn aanwezigheid, zijn energie en de momenten die we met hem deelden, leven voort in onze herinneringen.
In 2022 werd er al een steunactie opgezet om zijn begrafenis mogelijk te maken. Dankzij die solidariteit konden we hem op een waardige manier afscheid geven. Daar zijn we nog altijd dankbaar voor.
Vandaag voelen we opnieuw de nood aan verbondenheid niet om afscheid te nemen, maar om te blijven herinneren. Daarom willen we een gedenkbank plaatsen voor Francis: een blijvende, tastbare plek waar mensen kunnen zitten, stilstaan en hem blijven herdenken.
Deze bank staat symbool voor rust, herinnering en samen zijn. Een plek waar zijn naam blijft bestaan, niet alleen in woorden, maar in de ruimte zelf.
Met deze steunactie willen we dit eerbetoon mogelijk maken: een duurzame bank met een gedenkplaatje dat zijn naam draagt.
Elke bijdrage, groot of klein, helpt om deze plek van herinnering te realiseren. Samen zorgen we ervoor dat Francis nooit vergeten wordt. Wat vind je hiervan?
Francis a profondément marqué toutes les personnes qui l’ont connu. Sa présence, son énergie et les moments que nous avons partagés avec lui vivent encore dans nos souvenirs.
En 2022, une action de solidarité avait déjà été mise en place afin de rendre ses funérailles possibles. Grâce à cet élan de solidarité, nous avons pu lui dire adieu de manière digne. Nous en sommes encore aujourd’hui très reconnaissants.
Aujourd’hui, nous ressentons à nouveau le besoin de nous rassembler non pas pour faire nos adieux, mais pour continuer à nous souvenir. C’est pourquoi nous souhaitons installer un banc commémoratif en l’honneur de Francis : un lieu durable et tangible où chacun pourra s’asseoir, faire une pause et continuer à lui rendre hommage.
Ce banc symbolise le repos, la mémoire et le partage. Un endroit où son nom continuera d’exister, non seulement dans nos paroles, mais aussi dans l’espace lui-même.
Par cette action de soutien, nous souhaitons rendre cet hommage possible un banc durable accompagné d’une plaque commémorative portant son nom.
Chaque contribution, petite ou grande, aide à concrétiser ce lieu de mémoire. Ensemble, faisons en sorte que Francis ne soit jamais oublié.
Francis left a deep impression on everyone who knew him. His presence, his energy, and the moments we shared with him live on in our memories.
In 2022, a support campaign was already organized to make his funeral possible. Thanks to this solidarity, we were able to say goodbye to him in a dignified way. We remain deeply grateful for that.
