Please give my family a chance in life

Hello, my name is Belal Asfour, I live in Belgium.

In the first days of the New Year, all the inhabitants of the Earth prepare to celebrate the New Year and begin to plan new aspirations for this year. I also plan to help my family through you. Please, let us do something together for the sake of my family.

I am reaching out for support to get more than 25 of my family members out of Gaza. They endured treacherous conditions and unimaginable hardships for 90 days. Every day they remain in Gaza represents the terrifying reality that they will not survive the next bombing. With the situation worsening and their lives being threatened daily, this is an urgent call for help.

Despite the constant bombing and destruction, they embodied resilience and strength in the face of these difficulties. My family's home was completely destroyed and they were forced to move to the city of Rafah, where it was claimed to be safe, with nothing but the clothes they were wearing. They have been suffering from hunger, no clean water, no electricity, no internet, and inadequate medical care since the beginning of October. They witnessed destruction and death all around them, heard the continuous explosions of bombs day and night, were exposed to white phosphorus falling on them, and lost everything they owned. This is in addition to the emotional and psychological toll they may never recover from.

I am reaching out to raise funds that will allow them to escape these disastrous conditions. The goal is to move them to a safer place outside Gaza and away from imminent danger. They are required to pay about $7,000 per person to be allowed to leave Gaza.

Your support means more than just financial assistance. It is solidarity and compassion in the face of injustice, humanity and a commitment to preserving human life. I humbly ask you to help me help my family reach safety. I also ask you to share their story and stand with them in the darkest times of their lives.
