Nepal Owl Festival 2027
Fusion of culture, conservation and entertainment
Did you know that around 1500 owls are illegally trafficked or killed in Nepal every year due to negative cultural myths and poaching? We are on a mission to change that!
The annual Nepal Owl Festival, organized by Friends of Nature (FON) Nepal—is one of the country's largest conservation movements. By blending local music, indigenous games, and wildlife education, this unique festival transforms local communities into owl protectors.
Every euro raised goes directly toward mobilizing 100 local youth volunteers, organizing school conservation camps, and setting up a temporary Owl Museum to educate over 2,000 students and 6,000 guests.
Your donation—no matter how small—will fund transportation, food, and essential gear for the volunteers making this event happen. Let’s give a voice to these amazing "friends of the farmers". Donate today and help us keep Nepal's skies safely hooting!
